Zine Open Call

Zine on wooden floor

Zinesters have always been proactive in finding new ways to distribute their work from handing them out at gigs, swapping them at zinefests or creating online zines that readers can print off and make a physical copy of for themselves. Since we are still in lockdown that is the strategy we are using.

As this open call coincides with Mental Health Awareness Week, we particularly welcome zines that focus on mental health in some form. But it can be on any topic you like.

We know your resources may be scarce, so here is a good video from Austin Kleon on how to make a zine made from a single sheet of A4 paper: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ab4O9SWNl9g

Create your zine and submit it to us as a PDF. When this is all over, we will print it and add to our excellent zine library. We will also feature a selection of submitted zines on our website.

Send your submission with the subject line “Zine Open Call” to: library@gsa.ac.uk

Stay well and keep making. We look forward to seeing your creations!

  • Hi,

I received this response when I tried to email you at that address:

DB5EUR01FT014.mail.protection.outlook.com rejected your message to the following email addresses:

    lib@gsa.ac.uk (lib@gsa.ac.uk)
Your message was rejected by the recipient’s domain because the recipient’s email address isn’t listed in the domain’s directory. It might be misspelled or it might not exist. Try to fix the problem by doing one or more of the following:

Send the message again – delete and retype the address before resending. If your email program automatically suggests an address to use, don’t select it – type the complete email address.
Clear the recipient Auto-Complete List in your email program by following the steps in this article. Then resend the message.
    For Email Administrators
Directory based edge blocking is enabled for the recipient’s organization and the recipient wasn’t found in their directory. If the sender is using the correct address but continues to experience the problem, contact the recipient’s email admin and tell them about the problem. To fix this they should resynchronize their on-premises and cloud directories.

    Thank you,
