Inter-Library Loans Service
The ILL service can obtain material which is not held by the Library, and which is needed for your research and study.
If you can’t find the item you need in the library, local libraries or freely available on the internet and you need it for your study or research we may be able to provide access to books, journal articles, conference papers etc. We obtain items from a number of resources, within the UK the main source of supply is the British Library Document Supply Centre (BLDSC) but we can also source materials from other libraries in the UK and overseas.
To use our Inter-Library Loan service, you will need an online request form these are are available at
If you require further information on this service, our FAQs will answer many of your questions however if you require any further information please contact:
Nancy Young at firstname.lastname@example.org or telephone +44(0)141 353 4706.
Please note that items will take, on average, up to 2 weeks to arrive, but can sometimes take longer. You should allow plenty of time between submitting your request and requiring it for your work. Remember that all members of GSA have access to a number of other local and UK libraries, and on many occasions it may be quicker or more convenient for you to access the material you require directly in these libraries.
