We are delighted that Library reopened on Friday the 21st September.
8am to 10pm Monday to Friday, and 8am to 6pm on Saturday and Sunday
Library inductions for new students have been scheduled with programme leaders for the first two weeks of the semester. Open inductions will be running as well. Just come in and sign up for a session that suits you.
How to find us
Getting to the Library will require some navigational nous as Renfrew Street, and the lower half of Scott Street remain closed. To get to our front door, walk or cycle to the corner of Hill Street and Scott Street then come down Scott Street.
Please be aware that the Library lift is currently out of order. We are working to fix this as soon as possible. In the meantime if you find it difficult to use the stairs please talk to a member of Library staff who can arrange for books and other resources to be brought from the upper levels to the ground floor. A small number of student computers have also been temporarily moved to the ground floor for the use of anyone who cannot get to Level 2.
The Library toilets and drinking fountain are out of bounds until the water is certified as safe to use. Gender-neutral portaloos have been put in place just outside the library including one with wheelchair access. To find the portaloos go out the main library doors are turn right. Temporary drinking water is also provided on the ground floor of the Library. Please bring your own cup or bottle.
