Where to find help using software

As a GSA student or staff member, you have access to various online resources which can help you to use a wide array of software. This User Guide will help you to access two resources – lynda.com and atomiclearning.com – which offer courses of video tutorials to help in the use of many applications, including the Adobe CC suite, and most of the other software available on GSA Library computers.

These resources can be accessed both on and off campus.


LYNDA.COM

For access to lynda.com:

STEP 1

In your browser, navigate to www.lynda.com. Click Sign In.

softwaresupport2At the Sign In page, click: Sign in with your organizational portal


STEP 3
softwaresupport3Enter the GSA URL: gsa.ac.uk

Click Continue.

You will be redirected to the GSA portal, where you can sign in with your standard GSA details.

You should now have access; search for the software with which you would like assistance, and browse the courses and tutorials available.


ATOMICLEARNING.COM

For access to atomiclearning.com:

STEP 1

In your browser, navigate to atomiclearning.com.

If you are on campus, you will not be required to sign in. If you are off campus, you will require login details. Please visit the Learning Technology Helpdesk on Level 2 of the Library, or email LTHelp@gsa.ac.uk to obtain login details.

Click Search.

You can now search for the software with which you would like assistance, and browse the courses and tutorials available.
